We are aware of an issue with discussion message delivery and are currently investigating

We wanted to share a quick update following the Discussion service disruption some customers experienced recently.

The issue occurred after unusual activity was detected involving a small number of customer accounts. A customer had shared login credentials with a number of users, and thereby compromised their email login details, which were then used to send a high volume of phishing emails. As a precaution, our third-party email provider temporarily suspended the service while the activity was investigated.

OnRent Events itself was not compromised, and our systems remain secure. The incident was limited to individual customer accounts where credentials had been compromised. We have contacted the customers affected directly and are supporting them in strengthening their account security.

The good news is that the service has now been fully restored and is operating normally.
